FAQ
Where are you located, and do you travel?
I’m based in south-central Kansas but love to travel across the state and surrounding areas. Travel within 1 hour (approx. 60 miles) is included with your session. For locations beyond that, a small mileage fee applies.
Not in Kansas? I’m happy to come to you! For certain locations, I offer free legacy or branding sessions—just cover travel costs!
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance for general sessions. For seasonal or time-sensitive events like wheat harvest or senior portraits, the earlier the better to ensure availability.
How long does it take to get my gallery?
Turnaround time is typically 2-3 weeks. During peak seasons, it may be up to 4 weeks.
Do you give RAW images?
No. I carefully curate and edit each photo to reflect my style and storytelling approach. RAW images are not available for delivery.
What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Retainers are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, I ask for as much notice as possible, and I’ll do my best to accommodate another date.
What’s a “legacy session”?
Legacy sessions document everyday life, generational ties, or special projects on the land you love. It might be your family working together during harvest, grandma in her garden, or the quiet moments between chores.
How many photos will I receive?
This varies by session type, but most galleries include 40+ edited images. Branding sessions often include 50–100 depending on the time booked and number of setups.
I deliver all final images through an online gallery link where you can easily view and download your photos. You'll have the option to download high-resolution files (ideal for printing and websites) as well as web-sized files (perfect for sharing on social media).
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! I’m happy to work with you to break payments into two or three installments—just let me know at booking.
